Autobiography

Jonathan Murillo brings to the world of writing his professional soccer experience once as a player and now as a coach who dedicates to help every kid no matter their level, especially kids who are placed to the side. He was born in Medellin Colombia on November 21, 1976, but the States has been his home since he was three years old and is grateful for both countries playing an important role in his love for writing. The style of writing that he demonstrates to the reader is a form that helps understand the loss of translation seen in many expressions that from English and Spanish, as he writes in English but is thinking in Spanish giving an end result of a tantalizing window into how cultures converge in the world of soccer which is a universal language.

Jonathan Murillo’s faith in God illuminates his path in the pursuit of protecting the most precious gift which we are granted with that of our family. The goal of each word that he places on paper is for the purpose of strengthening relationships in families around the world, in simply seeing how one only needs the love of our family and not get distracted by moments that will only impede the growth towards the greatness of your own family. Caring for and respecting your own life will lead you to great guidance once we listen with dedication to our loved ones and the teachings of our Lord.

To know of someone is what creates a course for an endless amount of new possibilities which the treasure that lays in a moment of caring for who you happen to cross paths with initiates a future with by a solid foundation. We exist thanks to a crossing of paths that from our parents and explaining how important this moment is our father gave his love for us to keep us in peace on a cross.
Patience is what brings you closer to know more of what she has encountered through a life full of actions that can determine who you are and the path you choose for the journey we all have known to be as the moment that sparks life.

1998

The most impactful year of my life when my daughter Katalina was born. I became a father by choice and it made me understand the meaning of life even more. I give thanks to God every single day for allowing me to be a father.

2004

It was the end of a chapter that developed me into a man who cares to see people happy. I managed a Night Club from 1995 to 2004 and saw many couples come together in marriage when meeting each other at the Club which brought so many connections into creation.

2008

I started my coaching career in Shreveport Louisiana and it was a success as I helped lead Caddo Magnet high school to a first ever in Louisiana history that a northern city wins the state championship. I realized that I could help more people without being there next to them physically with by my words within a book and it was the commencement of writing The Truth.

2013

The Truth was published for the first time and I was going through a tough time in my life mentally with struggles of wanting to give up even though the The Truth was finally published. I found a reason to maintian consistency in trying to bring as many smiles as possible when I understood that we must endure time and find the beauty of what it could give us if we have faith in our hearts.

2018

I started to work on the 3rd edition of The Truth and my goal to finish the 3rd edition was to be by 2026. It was striking when I found out that the Wrold Cup for 2026 will be here in the U.S. I have always listen to my inner self and strive to keep a clear mind so that I may be attentive to all the communications that I'm grateful of receiving from God.

2020

Once Covid hit I paused working on the 3rd edition and I lost all my inspiration for writing due to the shock of my prediction of a world wide pandemic I spoke about in the 1st edition of The Truth. I wrote in the 1st edition that we must come to peace with our love ones and enjoy their presence because it will come into existence that we will have no choice but to be constantly around them due to being able to survive a catastrophe.

Today

It took me 5 years to finish the first and second edition of The Truth and for the 3rd edition I want to spend more time to see how the years develops knowing that the next World Cup in 2026 well be here in The U.S. I now have my own soccer club with 5 teams and growing in the highly sought out area of Highland Park in Dallas Texas. My goal is to help as many kids as possible to learn how to play proficiently and grow thier love for the game.
